General Minimum Requirements for All Applicants

  • Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50%
  • Computer literacy & strong verbal and written communication skills on all levels
  • Professional, organised, neat & diligent and able to work under pressure
  • Goal driven, committed, growth orientated, enthusiastic, energetic
  • CV with traceable references and documents
  • Successful applicants will need to provide a police clearance certificate or apply for one immediately upon accepting the position

Note that if you apply for a sales, driver, general or supervisor position, you must be willing to get your hands dirty and be able to handle parts that may weigh from 1kg up to 40kg.

Available Positions

Sales/General - Durban | Johannesburg | Pretoria 

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Ensure customer’s needs are met i.e., answering queries, quoting, taking orders, accepting payment, dispatch, after sales satisfaction & requesting feedback
  • Marketing (adverts online); Cold calling & repping for new customers
  • Meet and exceed all individual and team performance targets
  • Maintain & grow product knowledge and gather information on local market
  • Compliance of policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards & management direction.
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding customer concerns and employee matters
  • Fulfill support functions to keep store operational by assisting supervisor & colleagues with stock control (inc. receive & dispatch), maintenance of company assets, store upkeep and general administration, if/when required
  • Liaise with other branches/head office to fulfill business, communication & national coverage requirements & obligations
  • Driving - deliveries and errands if required

 Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 of: Experience in motor parts/knowledge of motor parts; Experience in sales
  • Drivers license with experience and no outstanding fines

The following is advantageous

  • Tertiary education

 

 

Driver/General - Durban | Johannesburg | Pretoria

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Ensure correct items are delivered as arranged and according to schedule and in excellent condition (including loading & unloading)
  • Errands completed as required
  • Maintains a safe driving & working environment, ensure vehicles are clean & maintained
  • Meet and exceed all performance targets
  • Maintain & grow product knowledge and gather information on local market
  • Maintain good interaction/relationship with customers & get feedback
  • Compliance of policies, procedures, regulations, quality standards & management direction including all fleet, safety & vehicle policies such as maintenance and cleanliness
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding customer concerns and employee matters
  • Fulfill support functions to keep store operational by assisting supervisor & colleagues with stock control (inc. receive & dispatch), maintenance of company assets, store upkeep and general administration, if/when required
  • Provide support and assist supervisor and colleagues in keeping the store operational
  • Answer customer enquiries by phone, electronically or in person, provide aftersales & customer service, if required

 Minimum Requirements

  • Matric/equivalent with maths/maths lit at least 50%
  • Drivers license, no outstanding fines, Minimum 2 years driving experience employed as a driver

 The following is advantageous

  • Experience in the motor parts industry / basic knowledge of engines / experience in sales

Branch Supervisor - Pretoria

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Ensure retail store is operational to it’s full capacity - Understand, manage, organise, control and oversee daily function of a retail store including admin; stock, asset & vehicle management; budget adherence and costs initiatives
  • Ensure the compliance with safety, health and security laws & regulations, quality standards are maintained & operating procedures followed
  • Identify operational deficiencies and implement plans for improvement
  • Maintain & increase internal & external market knowledge, including products & competitors and ensure staff keep to the same standard
  • Ensure staff comply with company procedures & policies, provide guidance and oversight, assist with IR matters
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales and support staff, ensure targets are met
  • Maintain existing and build new customer relationship & ensure excellent aftersales & customer service, i.e., customers are attended to and receiving correct items, on time, and ensure staff are following through
  • Marketing & promotion of the business, and branch, online &offline for growth
  • Maintain communication with head office and ensure all reports are submitted

 Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in management, sales and marketing
  • Experience in the automotive industry/knowledge of motor parts
  • Thorough Knowledge of the area
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Assertive with strong verbal, written communication & sound interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate with experience in word/excel and invoicing software
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, goal driven, committed and growth orientated
  • Professional, organised, neat & diligent and able to work under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license (no outstanding fines)

The following is advantageous

  • Bilingual
  • Tertiary education, Diploma in Business Management or Marketing advantageous
  • Business acumen and the understanding of pricing and cost calculation
  • Computer hardware troubleshooting knowledge

Bookkeeper - Durban

 

Duties include, but not limited to

  • Perform complete bookkeeping functions and daily transaction entries from branches
  • Reconcile purchases for stock and services against supplier statements
  • Processing bank and credit card transactions and recons
  • Posting journals
  • Reconciling control accounts
  • Processing and submitting the VAT accurately
  • Forex payments, revaluations, and reconciliations
  • Asset tracking and depreciation records
  • Loading payments
  • Preparing audit files after year end
  • Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
  • Dealing with general administration tasks, filing and binding
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as required by management

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in bookkeeping, accounting or similar
  • 3 years minimum experience
  • CV with traceable references and documents

The following is advantageous

  • Written articles
  • Worked in an accountancy practice
  • Knowledge or working experience of Zoho Books
