Delivery Policy

Quick Summary

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed only once full payment has cleared.
  • Orders placed and paid for by 11:00 SAST, Monday to Friday, are processed the same day, subject to stock availability.
  • Orders placed and paid for after 11:00 SAST are processed the next working day.
  • Orders placed and paid for on a Saturday or Sunday are processed the next working day, as most couriers do not operate on weekends.
  • Orders are not processed on South African public holidays; processing resumes the next working day.

Dispatch

  • Dispatch takes place from Durban, South Africa.
  • Local orders are dispatched the same working day they are processed, barring disruption to normal courier service. Bulk or large items may require one additional day for processing before dispatch.
  • International orders are dispatched the working day after they are processed, barring disruption to normal courier service. Some regions may require one additional day due to courier requirements.
  • You will receive a dispatch notification with a waybill or tracking number once your order has shipped.

Delivery — South Africa

  • Delivery takes 1 to 4 working days (Monday to Friday) from the date of dispatch, depending on your distance from Durban. Outlying areas may take longer.
  • Tracking numbers are provided as soon as they are available from the courier.
  • If your delivery is handled by one of our own drivers (applicable to local Durban-area deliveries), you will receive a call, SMS, WhatsApp message, or email before delivery takes place.

Delivery — International

Estimates only. Delays at customs on export or import may affect actual delivery times and are outside our control.

  • You are responsible for all customs taxes, duties, administration, agent fees, and any other clearance fees required by your destination country. We do not cover these costs under any circumstances.
  • If an item is returned to us because customs clearance was not completed, any costs incurred in retrieving or re-sending the goods will be charged to you.

Receiving Your Goods

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
  • Costs arising from failed or repeat delivery attempts are the customer's responsibility.
  • Inspect your goods immediately upon receipt. If the packaging is damaged, note this on the waybill or courier's handheld device before signing for the delivery.
  • Report any issues with your order within 24 hours of receipt.
  • If you receive the wrong item, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession, whether on your premises or elsewhere, until it has been returned to us.

Warranty

Covers manufacturing defect subject to the part being installed by a qualified mechanic/technician (with verifiable certification) and/or RMI member/approved workshop (with valid membership) that is competent, experienced and proficient in installing the relevant part. Turbo parts are subject to being assembled by a qualified turbo technician. Root cause of the problem must be identified and solved before installing the new part, i.e., repair the problem before repairing the symptom. Order Processing

  • Orders are only processed once full payment has cleared.
  • Orders received & paid for by 10am, Mon-Fri, are processed on the same day subject to availability. Where possible, orders after 10am will be processed on the same day.
  • Orders received & paid for during the weekend are processed the next working day as most couriers do not process on weekends, subject availability.
  • Dispatch for local orders, bar any disruption to normal service, will take place on the same day. Note that bulk or large items may require an extra day for processing.
  • Dispatch for international orders, bar any disruption to normal service, will take place on the next day. Note that some regions may require an extra day for processing due to courier requirements.
  • Dispatch is confirmed by way of dispatch notification and waybill/tracking number.
  • Dispatch is primarily from Durban

Delivery South Africa

  • Delivery can take 1 to 4 working days (Mon-Fri) from dispatch, depending on how far you are from our dispatch location. Outlying areas may take longer for delivery.
  • Tracking numbers are provided as and when they are available
  • Should the delivery be done by one of our drivers, you will receive a call/sms/whatsapp/email before delivery takes place.

Delivery International

  • Delivery is via FedEx
  • Delivery time is dependent on the service you select but take notice that the displayed time frames are estimates and any delay from customs at export and customs at import may affect delivery times.
  • Note: You are responsible for all customs taxes, duties, administration, agent and any other clearance fees for your chosen country of delivery. Under no circumstances will we cover any costs. Should an item be returned for your failure to clear, any costs encumbered to receive the goods will be borne by you.

Receiving Goods

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the goods
  • Any costs that arise from re-delivery attempts are for the customer
  • Inspect goods immediately upon receipt, f the packaging is damaged you must note that on the waybill or device before you sign
  • Inform us of any issues within 24 hours of receipt
  • Should you receive the wrong item, you are obligated to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession and on your premises, bearing in mind that if the item was not on your premises, you are still responsible, until the item has been returned.
